I bought two sets of Malone J-Dock Hybrid kayak rack. They are certainly very strong, well built and easy to install. For this get 5 stars. At the same time to inform you that this is not soft, as you might expect. Black areas of thick hard plastic and only the lower support piece plastic ribbed hard rubber small degree of depreciation.

We looked around trying to figure out how to keep our newly purchased kayak. It was the perfect solution for us! It was easy to install and easy to get to and from the kayak. I was very pleased with this storage system.

Shelves are easy to install. Make sure you have the right size drill and pre-drilling. Tensile bolts are heavy. This lets you have multiple socket is installed quickly. I like the fact that they contain straps to help keep the kayak in place in case something happen to run into the wind or trying to reverse it. I do not use loops for hanging part of my kayak, I just installed another shelf underneath.
